About Jonathan Berry — Founder & Principal
Jonathan Berry is a renewable energy and infrastructure development leader with over a decade of experience advancing utility-scale solar, wind, battery storage, hydropower, and broadband projects in the U.S. and abroad.
He’s led over 1.9 GW of renewable projects through complex regulatory, engineering, and community landscapes — from securing county permits and interconnection agreements to structuring Build Transfer and Power Purchase deals. Jonathan began his career working on sustainable development projects in Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, China, and Nicaragua, experiences that shaped his passion for using energy access to improve lives.
He holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, with certificates in Renewable & Sustainable Energy and Engineering for Developing Communities.
When he’s not leading projects, Jonathan enjoys trail running in the Rockies, traveling, serving with his local church, and investing in authentic men’s community. He lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife, two dogs, and a cat.
